Reunited

Friday Night. The group from Pannur rejoined us tonight after 3 days and nights in the village. They had a fantastic experience even though conditions are very basic.They especially enjoyed going out to other outlying villages with the sisters who run the Health Centre in Pannur; they were delivering medicine and health care but also setting up womens groups and credit unions so it was fascinating for group members to see social care in action. Tomorrow is a work free day, the group deserve a lie in after their hard work this week. The girls are going sari shopping but have already been beaten to this by the boys who have their shirts already on order.

It's fascinating to read the Blog and see how the work for Project Manvi has progressed. Aidan(2005), Justin (2008) and now Liam (2011). Great memories and an experience to guide you through life. Hope everyone this year enjoying each moment - we are thinking of you all.

Don't remember getting any lie-ins last year? Great to hear all is going well, and that the lads are giving more business to NewStyle tailors in Manvi. Hope the 'leaders' :) from last year haven't got the group into too many sticky situations, and could you remind them that us two are expecting many tailored shirts and other souvenirs on their return. thanks ciaran and dale/dan
