Project Manvi - Reaching the Unreached
Your opinion is sought.........

As some of you will know some former volunteers have set up their own organisistion with the intention of raising money to build a kindergarten in Pannur.Given that Pannur has always had an association with Wimbledon College  and hence Project Manvi  and that there is a limited number of  resources from which to draw there seems to be a question as to whether  to continue Project Manvi if it is to be undermined. This has been an extremely tough year to raise money and our donations have already been halved.

Marketplace.
Mosquito nets urgently required.

If anyone wishes to sell items such as mosquito nets etc to this year's group please email me with details including a description of the goods and their condition as well as the price wanted for them. director@projectmanvi.co.uk

Visiting Manvi
Fr Eric has asked me to inform you that it is not possible for them to take visitors who are not part of organised groups or long term volunteers. Therefore if you are returning to India in the future please don't plan to 'pop in' to Manvi for a few days to see how things are. Long term volunteers are welcome to apply via Jesuit Missions - these are 6 month or year long placements.

Project Manvi is sometimes able to place and pay a local wage to suitable and qualified teachers, especially those able to teach Maths, Science and/or Computer Studies. Contact the directorif interested.
